The Greatest Beer Run Ever
ActionAdventureComedyDramaWar127 min
During the Vietnam War, Zac Efron’s Chickie Donohue decides to support his neighborhood friends in the most improbable way he can: by carrying American beer to them himself. Based on a true story, the film follows Chickie from 1960s New York into a war zone, where a half-baked gesture of loyalty collides with what the fighting actually looks like. Russell Crowe appears as a journalist Chickie meets along the way, as the trip shifts from barroom dare to a firsthand encounter with the war and the people caught inside it.
