Dressed to Kill

CrimeDramaHorrorMysteryThriller105 min

When a Manhattan homemaker is brutally killed after an afternoon at the museum, prostitute Liz Blake becomes the only witness — and the person the police suspect first. Nancy Allen's Liz joins forces with the victim's teenage son, while Michael Caine is the psychiatrist connected to the dead woman and the case. Brian De Palma's 1980 thriller moves through art museums, subway platforms, taxis, and a central elevator sequence, folding erotic obsession, stalking, and a whodunit structure into a glossy, Hitchcockian New York nightmare.
