Pierce Brosnan is Max, enjoying the sun while keeping one eye on the next possible score, and Woody Harrelson’s Stan turns up determined to catch him in the act. With Salma Hayek alongside Brosnan as Max’s equally seasoned partner, the setup stays focused on the push and pull between a thief who says he’s finished and the fed who doesn’t buy it.
