The story
Thirty-four days before she is sent to prison, Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. The film begins as an intimate portrait of one of Silicon Valley’s most notorious founders in the final weeks before incarceration, staying close as Holmes opens herself to the camera. Then the assignment expands. What seems like a contained record of an enigmatic felon becomes a three-year pursuit that keeps unfolding in stranger directions, turning that rare access into a mind-bending journey into the abyss.
