When ruthless industrialist Bartholomew Bogue seizes the frontier town of Rose Creek, Emma Cullen turns to bounty hunter Sam Chisolm for help. Denzel Washington is Chisolm, a measured gunman who gathers six more fighters, among them Chris Pratt’s gambler Josh Faraday, to take on Bogue and his hired killers. Peter Sarsgaard is the man squeezing the town for its land and gold, turning the standoff into a fight over who gets to keep Rose Creek. Antoine Fuqua’s take keeps the focus on the town under siege and the uneasy alliance of drifters, outlaws, and hired guns assembled to defend it.
