In northeast India, undercover operative Joshua is sent to help broker a peace accord while navigating militants, officials, and shifting loyalties on the ground. Ayushmann Khurrana is Joshua, whose assignment intersects with Aido, a young boxer determined to earn a place on India’s national team despite the prejudice she faces. Andrea Kevichüsa’s Aido brings a parallel story of ambition and belonging, tying the machinery of negotiations to everyday questions of citizenship and identity. The film moves between covert meetings, separatist tensions, and the boxing ring as Joshua’s mission and Aido’s fight begin to overlap.
