Good Kill

DramaThrillerWar104 min

A former fighter pilot now spends his days in a trailer outside Las Vegas, flying armed drones over Afghanistan and killing by remote control. The work keeps him close to war and far from the battlefield, and that split starts to eat at him. As missions shift from surveillance to ordered strikes, he is told to follow commands that leave less room for judgment and more civilians in the frame. Back home, the strain follows him into his marriage and his sense of who he has become. Ethan Hawke anchors a story about a man caught between military duty, distance, and the damage done by fighting a war from a screen.
