Broken City

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThriller109 min

Ex-cop turned private investigator Billy Taggart is hired by New York’s mayor to look into the mayor’s wife, a routine job that quickly turns into a setup. Mark Wahlberg is Billy, moving through bars, back rooms, and campaign offices as he tries to clear his name after being double-crossed and framed. Opposite him, Russell Crowe’s mayor sits at the center of a city where political power and street-level corruption keep bleeding into each other. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Jeffrey Wright round out a story built around surveillance, leverage, and a detective who knows the system from both sides.
