Jesus Camp

Documentary87 min

At North Dakota's Kids on Fire summer camp, evangelical children pray, speak in tongues, and prepare to become the next Billy Graham. Becky Fischer runs the camp with a mission to raise young Christians who can “take back America for Christ,” while the film follows several kids as they rehearse sermons, worship in tears, and absorb a worldview where faith, politics, and daily life are tightly linked. Ted Haggard enters the frame as the focus widens beyond camp, placing the children’s summer inside a larger American evangelical movement.
