OKITSURA: Fell in Love with an Okinawan Girl, but I Just Wish I Know What She's Saying
AnimationAnimeComedyDramaRomance24 min per episode
After transferring to Okinawa, Teruaki Nakamura falls for the lively Kyan-san and immediately runs into one problem: he can barely understand what she’s saying. Her local dialect turns even simple conversations into crossed wires, so Higa-san steps in to translate—while hinting that her interest in Teru might go beyond helping out. As Teru adjusts to island routines, customs, and the rhythms of Okinawan life, the romance keeps circling back to what gets lost, and revealed, in translation. Takeo Otsuka and Akari Kito are among the voice cast.
