When a young girl is kidnapped in the middle of a violent storm, a quiet woman living alone with her dog is pulled into a desperate search. Allison Janney is Lou, a guarded neighbor whose survival skills and buried history make her the person most capable of helping. Beside her, Jurnee Smollett’s terrified mother pushes through rising water, dense forest, and the growing sense that Lou knows more than she first lets on. As they track the abductor across a remote island, the pursuit becomes a punishing chase shaped by old secrets on both sides.
