Spirited
ComedyFamilyFantasyMusical127 min
Every Christmas Eve, the Ghost of Christmas Present chooses one hard case for a three-spirit intervention, but this year his target, Clint Briggs, starts turning the whole scheme back on him. Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds lead this modern take on A Christmas Carol, reworking Dickens into a Christmas musical with corporate cynicism, ghostly bureaucracy, and a Scrooge who knows how to work a room. As Clint pushes back against the haunting, Present is forced to reckon with his own past, and with the version of redemption he’s been selling to everyone else.
