ComedyDrama44 min per episode
In a suburban Michigan high school in 1980-81, mathlete Lindsay Weir starts pulling away from the expectations around her and falls in with the school’s burnout crowd, while her younger brother Sam tries to survive freshman year with his geeky friends. Linda Cardellini is Lindsay, caught between family life and a new social world; John Francis Daley’s Sam moves through a different hierarchy entirely. James Franco turns up among the freaks as Daniel, part of the loose, aimless group that draws Lindsay in.
