In the immediate aftermath of Order 66, a squad of clone troopers engineered to be different from their brothers refuses to fall in line as the Republic becomes the Empire. Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Echo go on the run, taking dangerous mercenary jobs while trying to stay ahead of the new regime hunting deserters and loose ends. Their path changes when they take in Omega, a young clone whose presence raises new questions about what the Empire wants and how far it will go to get it. Each mission pushes the team deeper into a galaxy that no longer has a place for them.
