Waking Ned Devine

Comedy91 min

After a local man dies from the shock of winning the lottery, a tiny Irish village decides the money shouldn’t go unclaimed. Ian Bannen and David Kelly are the two friends at the center of the scheme, trying to collect Ned Devine’s prize and spread it around the community without giving themselves away. As more neighbors get folded into the secret, Fionnula Flanagan is part of a town that closes ranks fast. The comedy turns on rural gossip, shared cover stories, and the increasingly tricky business of pretending the winner is still available to collect.
