The Living Daylights

ActionAdventureThriller130 min

Sent to aid a Soviet general during his defection, James Bond finds a routine extraction turning into a wider plot. A sniper’s bullet misses its target, a warning follows, and Bond is drawn from a border operation into a chase across Europe and beyond. As he digs deeper, shifting loyalties, secret deals, and rival intelligence agendas keep changing the picture. The trail leads through arms trafficking and high-level deception, with Bond forced to decide whom he can trust while staying ahead of killers on all sides. Timothy Dalton takes over as 007 in a mission that mixes Cold War maneuvering with the series’ usual globe-spanning danger.
