Blindness

DramaMysterySci-FiThriller121 min

A sudden epidemic of “white sickness” leaves a city blind, and the government seals the infected inside a deteriorating asylum. Julianne Moore is the doctor’s wife, one of the only people who still has her sight, and she enters quarantine rather than leave her newly blind husband (Mark Ruffalo) behind. Inside, food shortages, fear, and confinement turn the wards into a struggle for survival. As a small group gathers around them, she becomes their hidden guide through overcrowded rooms, armed guards, and a society losing its grip on order.
