Gangnam 1970
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThrillerWar135 min
In 1970s Seoul, two childhood friends surviving by collecting scrap paper and empty bottles are pulled into rival gangs as the development of Gangnam turns land into a prize worth killing for. Lee Min-ho leads the story of Jong-dae and Yong-ki, whose bond frays as criminal organizations and political interests converge around the district’s transformation. With Kim Ji-soo among the key players, the film moves from street-level poverty to gang clashes, corruption, and the scramble to control a neighborhood on the verge of becoming some of the city’s most valuable real estate.
