The Answer Man
ComedyRomance97 min
Twenty years after publishing a book on spirituality that made him famous, Arlen Faber has become a brittle recluse still surrounded by people who think he knows how to live. Jeff Daniels is Arlen, a once-revered author whose guarded routine starts to shift when he grows close to Elizabeth, a chiropractor and single mother. Lauren Graham gives Elizabeth an easy warmth, while Lou Taylor Pucci's Kris, newly out of rehab, turns to Arlen for guidance of his own. As these relationships pull him back toward other people, Arlen has to face the gap between the answers he sold and the life he actually leads.
