The Sweeney
ActionAdventureCrimeDrama112 min
Ray Winstone is Jack Regan, a hard-charging detective in London’s Flying Squad whose methods are as messy as the cases he takes. When a jewellery-store robbery turns fatal and a criminal from Regan’s past resurfaces, he and partner George Carter (Plan B) push into a case that looks less like a straight heist than an execution. With Damian Lewis’s Haskins pressuring the team from above — and Regan entangled in an affair with his boss’s wife — the investigation keeps colliding with his own trouble.
