Katrina: Come Hell and High Water

Documentary70 min per episode

Twenty years after Hurricane Katrina, survivors in New Orleans look back on the storm that upended their lives and the systemic failures it laid bare. Their accounts trace the disaster from landfall through the breakdown that followed, tying personal loss to government neglect, environmental vulnerability, and the city’s long recovery. Mitch Landrieu and Wendell Pierce are among the voices onscreen, alongside residents and public figures revisiting what happened and what changed. Directed by Spike Lee with Geeta Gandbhir and Samantha M. Knowles, the series returns to Katrina and its aftermath through survivor testimony two decades later.
