Assassination Nation

ActionComedyCrimeDramaHorrorMysteryThriller110 min

When an anonymous hacker dumps the private data of an entire small town, Salem turns on itself, and four high school seniors end up at the center of the fallout. Odessa Young is Lily, moving through a world of texts, selfies, and group chats that suddenly becomes a public record of everyone’s secrets. Her closest circle, including characters embodied by Abra, Suki Waterhouse, and Hari Nef, watches gossip curdle into paranoia and then open violence. Sam Levinson’s film pushes social-media satire, teen panic, and home-invasion terror into the same night, as leaked phones and exposed lives strip away any boundary between public humiliation and mob rage.
