White Bird in a Blizzard

DramaMysteryThriller91 min

In 1988, college-bound teen Kat Connors is thrown off balance when her glamorous, hard-to-read mother disappears, leaving an already strained household in limbo. Shailene Woodley is Kat, moving through first relationships and growing independence while barely acknowledging what the loss has done to her. Eva Green’s Eve lingers over the story as both a vivid presence and an unsettling absence, with Christopher Meloni as Kat’s passive father, Brock. As time passes, Kat is forced to confront the emotional vacuum at home and the ways denial, memory, and desire have shaped her understanding of what happened.
