Arjun Kumar Allam is a small-time moneylender in his 30s, potbellied and under constant pressure to finally get married. Vishwak Sen is Arjun, who at last finds a match in Madhavi and heads toward an arranged wedding that seems to settle his family’s worries. But a lockdown leaves him stuck with her relatives, turning formal marriage talks into close quarters and awkward familiarity. As Arjun starts picturing a happy future, Rukshar Dhillon’s Madhavi gives him reason to wonder whether she wants the match at all. The film centers on family negotiations, social pressure, and the uneasy gap between expectation and consent.
