The Furious
ActionAdventureCrimeThriller114 min
When his daughter is taken by a kidnapping ring and the police offer only corruption and dead ends, Wang Wei goes after her himself. Miao Xie is Wei, an ordinary tradesman pushed into a brutal search that leads into a larger criminal network. The only person willing to help is Joe Taslim’s Navin, a relentless journalist whose own wife has disappeared under murky circumstances. Bound by separate losses, the two men chase the same underworld, with close-quarters fights and martial-arts set pieces shaping a rescue story built on missing people, crooked authority, and a father who stops waiting for help.
