Marcus Graham is a top advertising executive who glides through work and romance with the same confidence, treating women as casually as he treats a successful pitch. That starts to unravel when a new boss takes over and handles him exactly the way he has handled everyone else. As Marcus tries to keep his footing in a workplace where charm no longer gives him the advantage, his swagger turns into confusion, jealousy, and self-examination. Eddie Murphy leads the story as Marcus gets pulled into a reversal he cannot control, while Halle Berry appears as a woman who offers him a very different kind of connection.
