After her husband dies, suburban mother Nancy Botwin starts selling marijuana to keep her family afloat, turning a quiet cul-de-sac into the center of her new business. What begins as a practical secret quickly gets messy: she has to balance two sons, nosy neighbors, unreliable allies, and a growing list of suppliers and customers who all want something from her. As Nancy pushes deeper into the trade, small lies become bigger risks, and the line between family survival and criminal life keeps moving. Mary-Louise Parker anchors Nancy’s steady improvisation while the Botwins get pulled into schemes that keep spreading beyond the neighborhood.
