When a hurricane tears through a U.S. Army base near the Panama Canal, a Ranger training mission in the jungle ends with multiple soldiers missing and only two survivors left to talk. John Travolta is Tom Hardy, a former Army Ranger turned DEA agent brought in to sort through the conflicting stories, while Samuel L. Jackson’s Nathan West looms over the case as the feared drill sergeant who led the exercise. With each version of events contradicting the last, the investigation moves between military discipline, covert operations, and the question of what happened in the storm.
