At the Salvatore School, the daughters of vampires, werewolves, and witches grow up learning how to control powers that could hurt them or everyone around them. Seventeen-year-old Hope Mikaelson carries the weight of her family’s history while trying to find her place among other students who are just as dangerous and unsure as she is. Under headmaster Alaric Saltzman, played by Matt Davis, the school tries to keep these teens hidden from the outside world, but each crisis pushes them closer to exposure. As friendships shift, rivalries harden, and strange threats arrive on campus, the students have to decide what kind of monsters they will become.
