A troubled young man begins volunteering at a hospice, where patients and caregivers are joined by one shared goal: helping people face death well. Ji Chang-wook is Yoon Gyeo Rye, an outsider whose time there pulls him into the orbit of Kang Tae Sik (Sung Dong-il), a steady presence in the ward, and nurse Seo Yeon Joo, played by Sooyoung Choi. As Yoon adjusts to the routines and emotions of hospice life, the series stays close to the people inside it — patients, staff, and volunteers trying to care for one another at the end of life.
