After bumping into an old crush, Dominic Monaghan is Seth, a lonely animal shelter worker whose fixation on waitress Holly turns into stalking and, eventually, abduction. He hides her in a cage beneath the shelter, where the routines of feeding, watching, and punishment take on a rigid order. Ksenia Solo gives Holly a wary, resistant presence as the film narrows to two people locked in a basement struggle over control, humiliation, and the fantasy Seth is trying to force into being.
