An ex-special forces operative stuck in a desk job reluctantly signs on to protect a washed-up journalist during her interview with a dictator, only for a military coup to erupt mid-visit. John Cena is the former soldier pulled back into the field, alongside Alison Brie's reporter, who sees the assignment as a chance to land a major story. As the government collapses around them, the pair are forced to flee into the jungle with the very leader she came to profile, with Juan Pablo Raba as the polished, unpredictable strongman. Their escape turns into a scramble through gunfire, shifting loyalties, and unforgiving terrain.
