F is for Family

AnimationComedyDrama28 min per episode

The Murphys are a suburban Irish American family in 1970s Pennsylvania, trying to keep a household together while jobs, bills, school, and neighborhood grudges keep pushing everyone toward a blowup. Bill Burr voices the family’s short-fused father, and Laura Dern’s mother is left managing the chaos at home. With unsupervised kids, constant bickering, and a backdrop of station wagons, ashtrays, and television as the center of the living room, the show keeps its focus on domestic fights, generational clashes, and the small humiliations of family life in Rustvale.
