Cats in the Museum
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyDramaFamilyFantasy80 min
Inside St. Petersburg’s Winter Palace, the State Hermitage relies on its resident cats to keep rats and mice away from the galleries and the artwork. Vincent, a ginger cat, arrives at the museum with Maurice, a mouse, and finds himself drawn into the routines of these four-legged guards as small threats turn into a larger problem for the collection. Roman Kurtsyn and Diomid Vinogradov are among the voices in this Russian animated film, which mixes museum mystery with the polished halls, hidden passages, and nightly patrols of one of the world’s most famous art museums.
