Carrie

DramaHorrorThriller100 min

Chloë Grace Moretz is Carrie White, a shy teenager whose life is split between relentless bullying at school and the strict control of her deeply religious mother at home. Julianne Moore’s Margaret treats Carrie’s growing body and independence as sins, while her classmates turn humiliation into a sport. As Carrie begins to understand the telekinetic power she’s kept hidden, an attempt to draw her into senior prom collides with a cruel prank that pushes the night toward catastrophe. Kimberly Peirce’s reimagining keeps the story in a contemporary high school world of gossip, phones, and public humiliation.
