Ella McCay
ComedyDrama115 minWatch trailer
Emma Mackey is Ella McCay, an idealistic young politician trying to keep her family life from spilling into a high-pressure career just as she prepares to take over for her mentor, the state’s longtime incumbent governor. The film follows Ella at the point where private obligations and public responsibility start colliding, with the demands of home arriving alongside the expectations of office. Jamie Lee Curtis and Woody Harrelson are among the people in her orbit as she navigates a crowded political world, shifting loyalties, and the strain of stepping into a role that already comes with history attached.
