A high school teacher steps through a diner’s back room and lands in 1960, with one mission waiting for him at the other end of the decade: stop the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Living in the past is not as simple as changing one day in Dallas. As Jake settles into another life, he draws attention, falls in love, and starts to see how every choice sends new consequences rippling outward. The closer he gets to Lee Harvey Oswald, the more the past seems to resist him. James Franco leads a story where surveillance, suspicion, and the pull of an ordinary life keep colliding with a history he is trying to rewrite.
