The Golden Girls
Comedy24 min per episode
In Miami Beach, four older women share a house and build a life around friendship, family trouble, dating, and many late-night conversations over cheesecake. Bea Arthur is Dorothy, a divorced schoolteacher with a dry, cutting wit, while Betty White’s Rose meets the world with earnest sweetness and a tendency to miss the point. Around them are Blanche, the proudly flirtatious Southern belle, and Sophia, Dorothy’s sharp-tongued mother. The comedy comes from the way these mismatched roommates needle one another, trade stories, and keep showing up for each other at home in South Florida.
