Inside a British police anti-corruption unit, investigators examine officers whose actions on the job no longer add up. Each case starts with a decorated cop or a botched operation, then widens into hidden deals, manipulated evidence, and loyalties that reach across the force. As AC-12 digs in, interviews become battles of detail and pressure builds from every side: superiors want results, suspects know police procedure as well as their questioners, and one compromised decision can taint an entire case. Martin Compston and Vicky McClure are among the officers trying to separate honest mistakes from organized cover-ups while the unit’s own methods come under scrutiny too.
