Twelve Chairs

AdventureComedyCrime161 min

In Soviet Russia, a rumor about hidden jewels sends a small-time schemer racing across the country after a lost set of dining chairs. He teams up with a down-on-his-luck aristocrat who believes the treasure was sewn into one of the twelve seats before the family estate was broken apart and scattered. Their search turns into a comic chase through apartments, offices, trains, and provincial towns as each chair leads to another dead end, another hustle, and another rival closing in. With Archil Gomiashvili and Sergey Filippov at the center, the hunt keeps colliding with bureaucracy, bad luck, and greed.
