Elliot Alderson is a young cybersecurity engineer who can barely connect with people except through the systems he breaks into. Rami Malek’s Elliot uses hacking to watch over the few people he cares about, then gets pulled between the security firm that employs him and a secretive underground group bent on bringing down corporate power. Christian Slater is Mr. Robot, the anarchic figure who recruits him into fsociety and turns Elliot’s private intrusions into something much larger. As Elliot’s double life deepens, the series keeps one foot in corporate surveillance and the other in conspiracy, secrecy, and his increasingly unstable sense of what he can trust.
