FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilyFantasyMusical75 min
Pips is eager to see what lies beyond FernGully until Batty comes crashing in with bad news: two human poachers and their dogs have taken three baby animals. With the fairies’ home suddenly under threat, Pips and the Beetle Boys head out of the rainforest and into town, pressing the jittery Batty into service as their guide. Laura Erlich and Gary Martin are among the voices in this animated sequel, which sends its tiny heroes beyond the safety of the forest for a chase-and-rescue story built around poachers, city streets, and FernGully’s familiar environmental stakes.
