Balto

ActionAdventureAnimationDramaFamily78 min

In Nome, Alaska, an outcast half-wolf named Balto takes on a dangerous rescue when a deadly epidemic threatens the town’s children. When a team of sled dogs carrying the much-needed medicine vanishes into an Arctic storm, Balto heads into the ice and snow with a few allies, trying to beat the weather and the town’s distrust of him. Kevin Bacon voices Balto, with Bridget Fonda and Bob Hoskins among the supporting cast, in an animated adventure loosely inspired by the 1925 serum run to Nome.
