Millions

ComedyCrimeDramaFamily98 min

After their mother’s death, two brothers in Britain stumble onto a bag of stolen cash just as the country is about to replace pounds with euros. Alex Etel is Damian, the younger boy, who treats the windfall like a gift from above, while Lewis McGibbon’s Anthony sees money in much more practical terms. James Nesbitt is their father, still trying to hold the family together as the boys keep the discovery to themselves. Danny Boyle frames the setup through a child’s point of view, mixing grief, religious imagery, and the ticking problem of a robbery haul that will soon be impossible to spend.
