Hot Rod

ActionAdventureComedy88 min

Rod Kimble spends his days chasing glory as a self-appointed stuntman, launching his moped off ramps and wiping out in front of a town that barely takes him seriously. Andy Samberg is Rod, an accident-prone amateur whose biggest problem is at home: his stepfather Frank keeps humiliating him in weekly sparring matches. When Frank falls seriously ill, Rod organizes his wildest jump yet—clearing fifteen buses—to raise money for the operation. The plan comes with its own twist: once Frank is back on his feet, Rod intends to settle things in the ring. Isla Fisher and Bill Hader are part of Rod’s oddball orbit.
