House of Wax
CrimeHorror88 min
A disfigured sculptor opens a wax museum in New York and unveils a gallery of historical figures so lifelike they quickly attract uneasy attention. Vincent Price is the artist at the center of it all, hiding behind calm manners and a damaged face as the museum’s displays grow stranger and the bodies around the city begin to matter in a new way. Phyllis Kirk and Frank Lovejoy are among the people pulled toward the mystery, as police questions, late-night streets, and the museum’s shadowy rooms tighten around its proprietor.
