May

ComedyDramaHorror93 min

May is a lonely veterinary assistant whose childhood isolation, lazy eye, and fixation on perfection leave her struggling to connect with anyone outside the doll her mother gave her. Angela Bettis gives May a brittle, watchful presence, while Jeremy Sisto's Adam — a local mechanic whose hands become the focus of her crush — seems like her first shot at intimacy. As May reaches toward Adam and Polly (Anna Faris), awkward encounters and mounting disappointment begin to twist her longing into something far more unsettling.
