Perry Mason

CrimeDramaMystery56 min per episode

In 1932 Los Angeles, Perry Mason is a broke private investigator scraping by on small jobs while war memories and a failed marriage hang over him. Matthew Rhys is Mason, still far from the polished defense lawyer of legend, when a kidnapping case gone horribly wrong pulls him into a much larger story. As he follows the evidence, the investigation exposes a city split by money, influence, and desperation in the middle of the Depression. Juliet Rylance and Chris Chalk are part of the circle around Mason as the case widens, and the series leans into the smoke, dirt, and hard edges of early-’30s L.A.
