Two Days in Paris

ComedyDramaRomance96 min

Trying to steady a strained relationship, Marion and Jack head to Paris for a short visit that quickly turns personal. Julie Delpy is Marion, bringing her boyfriend into the orbit of her parents, her city, and an uncomfortable number of former romances, while Adam Goldberg’s Jack finds himself lost in translation at dinners, in taxis, and in a parade of awkward encounters. Moving through apartments and street corners across Paris, the film keeps its focus on the small humiliations and simmering arguments that come with travel, intimacy, and seeing a partner in the place that made them.
