ComedyRomance98 min
On the verge of retirement, British tennis pro Peter Colt gets one last shot when a wild card entry puts him into Wimbledon after his ranking has slid out of contention. Paul Bettany is Peter, a once-promising player trying to steady his confidence as he faces the biggest tournament of his career. Off the court, he meets rising American star Lizzie Bradbury, with Kirsten Dunst giving Lizzie the bright, hard-edged focus of someone built to win. Against the pressure and ritual of Wimbledon, Peter’s unexpected run collides with a romance that threatens to throw both players off balance.
